Of the Grand Lodge of Ritualistics and Research

Art.1 The Council of Wise Men is the guarantor of the continuity and regularity of the Order, ensuring the stability of the functioning of the Grand Lodge. Represents the Proposal, Judicial and Legislative Authority.

Art.2 Its guidance is ensured by the dean of the Masonic age, having the role of administrator of the work equipment and coordinator of the work of the court. In his absence, the coordination of the work falls to the Grand Master.

Art.3 The Chancellor, the Archivist and the Secretary are appointed before any work by the senior Dean or, in his absence, by the Grand Master

The role and structure of the Council

Art.4 The Council of Wise Men ensures the preservation of the identity of the Grand Lodge, an identity consolidated since the foundation of the Order, the observance of the Constitution and the General Regulations, the Decrees and Decisions of the Grand Master as well as the In compliance with the own Decisions, ensures the observance of the structure of the Temple, the observance of pre and post initiation, salary increases as well as the proper functioning of the Grand Lodge Authorities. To this end, the Council exercises the function of mediation between the Grand Master and the Obedience Lodges of the Grand Lodge, as well as between the members of the Order and the Authorities of the Grand Lodge.

Art.5 The Council is composed of 10 members, Freemasons with uninterrupted seniority in Freemasonry of at least 15 effective years, having esoteric culture and spiritual practice commensurate with seniority, with a high degree of morality and knowledge of the Mysteries of Life and Death, prudent in the administration of the novice Mason and in balancing the antipodes of the associative domains.

Art.6 If a member of the Council of Wise Men is elected Grand Master, he maintains his place in the Council, but only as coordinator of the work and with consultative functions, without the right to vote during the mandate, except for exceptions that will be drawn up in this regulation.

Art.7 If the number of members is reduced due to cancellations, expulsion from the Order, termination of service, death or any other modality provided for by these Regulations, the Council may remain numerically reduced.
